About Bevan
Bevan Schneck has proven his dedication to Hilliard and is ready to serve you and your family on Hilliard City Council.
Growing up as the son of a small-town mayor and village administrator, Bevan became familiar with how municipal government works. That led him to pursue career opportunities focused on small business, good government, and smart public policy.
Experienced in Local Government
Bevan has had an up-close seat to watch council members, mayors, and city managers from throughout central Ohio and the state do the work they do and implement best practices at the local level.
Today, Bevan works at the Ohio Municipal League (OML) – a statewide association of more than 730 cities and villages – where he represents communities on policy issues such as economic development, public safety, and funding.
Prior to that, he spent several years at the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC), where he gained knowledge and experience in the areas of transportation, land use, sustainability, long-range plans and programs, and public involvement.
Involved in Hilliard
Bevan has called Hilliard home since 2012. He lives in Old Hilliard and is most closely affiliated with the City of Hilliard as the chair of the city’s Planning & Zoning Commission. He's currently serving his sixth year on the commission and has never missed a meeting.
He’s also involved in the community through organizations such as the Hilliard Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, Hilliard Ohio Historical Society, and Keep Hilliard Beautiful.
